Rub & Sauce

Found these 2 recipes on the virtual Weber bullet site. A rub and a sauce. I've used them both and they, in my opinion, are very good.
Rub Recipe: Magic Dust

·½ c paprika
·¼ c kosher salt
·¼ c sugar
·2 tbsp mustard powder
·¼ c chili powder
·¼ c ground cumin
·2 tbsp ground black pepper
·¼ c granulated garlic
·2 tbsp cayenne pepper


To make it a little more hot and spicy, increase the mustard powder & black pepper to ¼ c each.



No. 5 BBQ Sauce:

·1 c ketchup
·½ c cider vinegar
·1/3 c brown sugar
·1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
·1 tablespoon rub

Add ingredients and simmer to thicken.


Some people cut the vinegar down to 1/3c

I'm gonna have to look into that book now. So far the only book i have is "Smoke & Spice". Which is some good reading itself.
