    Default Smoked some Cheese...

    1st time taking a wack at it. Turned out pretty good.
    Used apple chips in the ECB . Let it smoke about 1 1/2 hours. Held a temp of 77*.

    1 pound sharp cheddar
    1 pound mild cheddar
    1 pound swiss
    1/2 pound of gouda.

    Mike that is a piece of Hickory, drilled hole through it to hold the probe for the thermo.

    Looks great Alan! I see Josh got the urge as well. Seems like there's something about Feb and March that makes folks want to smoke cheese.

    As to the hickory chunk, I wonder what would happen if you apple smoked some cherry chips and then smoked some cheese w/ them.

    Sounds like you had a tasty smoke session. I think smoked Gouda is the bomb!
