    Default Klose Is Here

It finally arrived and it is a beaut! Went down David Klose's factory in Nov (was in FTW, Tx visiting pop) and met the man himself. Great guy and great place! Got the 20x42 with 1/2" firebox (for smoking when its 0*), 2nd grate, 8" wheels (to get it through the snow), a a few other extras. Time to season it. Coated the entire insides with peanut oil and gonna let it go for most of the day. Cant wait to use it!

I don't know what the actual temp is, but it cooks the way I want it to, so I don't guess it really matters.

    That's nice!

Is that a tear in the drums eye in pic #2? Remember, treat them equally now!

Before and after pics from seasoning.

After almost 9 hrs (started around 0800 hrs). Charcoal, peach, hickory, and cherry used. Had temps from 150* to 350*. Let it "cook" at 230* for most of the time.

Everyone makes a mistake every now and them..... OOPS! Still works though, but when the battery is done, its done...
