    Default New from NW Arkansas

Hello form NW Arkansas, been smoking about a year now. Son is a smoker and just didn't smoke often enough for me, so bought a Treager and started doing my own smoking. Now have two UDS's and have built six others for other people. If I had found these forums before buying the pellet pooper might not have bought it. Do enjoy smoking on it though. I like the flavor from the drum better it think, and they are both set and forget(almost). I've smoked butts, briskets, salmon, pork loins, chuck roast, ribs, abts, scotish eggs, pig candy and a lot of other things.
My wife and I also dutch oven cooking and camping. We love to be out doors. We spent five years traveling around the eastern half of the US. Worked and traveled doing hearing test for large industry. Looking forward to learning a lot from you folks.
Have enjoyed this hobby more than any other I've tried. Love to eat my mistakes(most of the time).

BR, we're glad you're here. It sounds like you have much to offer us here. I look forward to your input.

NW Arkansas, huh? It sounds like you're fairly close to quite a few of us. Where 'bouts are you over that way? I'm in the Tulsa area.

Enjoy the site. It is nice being able to make your mistakes go away by simply eating them.

We are in Rogers this year. Was in springdale last year. Wife took a new job in a gated community. Really nice the neighbors are real quiet, not much traffic. There is over 800 units in our addition. All the houses are 5' X 10', 10' X 10', 12' X12' all the way up to 12' X 50' and they all keep everything lock up tighter than a drum.

My kind of neighbors! Tight quarters, but I doubt they complain.

    Welcome to The Joint Buzz!

I think my ex wife may be residing in your community.

would you check and see if she still has the silverware that i was supposed to have gotten in the divorce settlement?

I'm with ya on the Traeger. The wood just seems to lose something in the process of pellet makin doesn't it?
