    Default Chargriller Smokin' Outlaw

Just got back fro Academy Sports where I found what I think is the bargain of the century on a mid size backyard offset.

Thay had a Chargriller "Smokin' Outlaw" for $149.95. This thing dwarfs the Smokin' Pro with over 100Square in. of grilling surface as oppose to a little over 800 in the smokin' pro. The firebox as well is much larger.

I had bought my son a new super pro w/o the sfb for Christmas and paid $129.00 for it. I bought him the Smokin' Outlaw for $10 more and took the super pro back to Lowe's.

Anybody thinking about a id sized backyard offset really ought to think about this one before buying something else. Nobody anywhere has anything like it for the money.

I had never heard of it and the Chargriller website doesn't even show it. The show the Outlaw but not with sfb.

I don't know what the actual temp is, but it cooks the way I want it to, so I don't guess it really matters.

Nice deal Tim. The only draw back is the gage of the metal allows a lot of heat loss, thus more fuel usage. But a few simple mods will help it out.

Great deal for an extra Oklahoma $10 though! Oh btw in Missouri $149 minus $129 is $20 unless there's something you didn't tell us in the equation.

Must be the watered down Coors you been drinkin

It's 14 ga. metal which is thicker than the 16 ga. that most of the others in it's class are made of.

Oh, the other part of the equation is that I paid $129.00 for but when I took it back, they gave e $139.00.

That should read 1000 sq inches. Or, 6.9 sq feet. Or, 24" x 37".
