Default YOU Need To Support TQJ!

Folks, I'm not the owner of this site, Fatboy is.
Here's the deal though, it is not free to maintain this site. And this site has NO income that pays the fees associated with it being here for you. And there are several that have to be paid.
Those fees come out of Fatboy's pocket.
I really enjoy this site. I think it beats ALL other outdoor cooking sites by a mile. Better content, better people, more responsive, more experienced knowledge.
Times are not the best for certain. But we are making it.
Click on the yellow Support TQJ plate in the upper left of the screen and help keep this site here for all of us by helping Fatboy pay the bills.
    Nuff sed.

I understand that members are not consciously aware of the money it takes to keep This joint up and running.

Start up cost and web hosting isn't cheap and I appreciate Fatboy providing this place we all call home.

It takes all of us to make the forum what is today and what it will become.

You should not feel as if your obligated to make to donations.
You should donate based on you enjoying the forum and wanting to contribute to it's longevity.
Thanks to all who contribute to keep The Q Joint family together.

And if you feel extra giving you can send me some money too.

Mike's enthusiasm is appreciated, but we don't want members that are facing tough financial times to feel as though donations are mandatory, or that they are of less value here if they cannot afford to support the site financially.

All members contribute in one way or another and that is what makes the site what it is, so many thanks to all of you.

In the no to distant future, we will need to find ways to increase members donations just for bandwidth reasons if for no other. In the mean time, we would like to try to find a way to increase donations to the point where we can have a small bank account for the purpose of funding member get togethers, forum giveaways, etc. The degree to which we are able to do this is up to you, the members, and the level of your financial participation.

At the same time, we don't want to have the appearance of being "soliciting" donations.

Both myself and all staff members would appreciate any and all input as to how the membership thinks we might go about implementing these goals.

Please feel free to respond here.

Once again, thanks to you all for all you do. It is truly a joy to watch this pace grow and continue to become the premier website on the internet devoted to outdoor cooking!

I think we should put Trav in his apron and drive him around to some of those clubs on ladies night.

All the money would have to be washed of course.
