    Default Fish tacos

I had fish tacos at a restaurant once , swore I would never again.
Well, once my wife started talking about it, sounded pretty good and worth another try. Now it's one of our favorites.

Fried up some Talapia and placed on a tortilla shell

Added on some homemade pico di gallo consisting of red onions, tomatoes, avacado, jalepenos, and a little garlic.

    Topped with cheese

and enjoyed with a home made bottle of Sauvignon Blanc

The thin Tilapia that can be folded right in your tortilla makes a nice choice of fish to use.

Hey, I'll bet you could smoke that Tilapia on a ceder plank and make it muy bueno.

My idea was like Josh's, but I was thinking grilled, not planked.

Great job, Mike! I like fish tacos, but the wife, not so much. That homemade pico looks like it makes the meal.

That's the way we do carp down in the Ozarks!
Nail it to an oak board, smoke it, throw the carp away, eat the board.

Never had fish tacos, but it's certainly something to try. Tilapia is pretty mild fish. I like the look of the pico.
