    Default Nice Score for Trav, lil work involved .

    Got the call round 11am this morning, buddy had deer down and needed help draggin it outta the woods (he didnt mention the friggin hill) But I was well rewarded for my efforts.

    Him walkin up on it.

    these he wanted me to smoke,there raw and turn em into snack sticks.

    And of course the pay off.


    Not to mention couple beers up at the local watering hole watching my Bears loose.

    Right on, Trav. Very nice!! I've yet to get in a blind this year. I keep hoping I'll find the time though.

    Unable to hunt in Minnesnota this year. Why dont you guys save some cash and butcher it yourselves. Its pretty easy once you see it done, and with a small investment, you can even make your own sausage. Study up and quit payin' the man.

    Hes done many (probably hundreds), tried to give it to his son in law but didnt want anything to do with it cept keep the roasts and make jerky after its processed. Jay's meat processing is my meat man and our friend always cuts us a he11 of a deal. That is who I will use for comp cuts as he is getting direct from the folks I have to go to Chicago and get the "good stuff" but doesnt charge me a mark up so its basically a gas saver.
