DaHorns... I've seen those pics before! Still a beautiful pit! Please, never park next to any of mine, yours would give them a complex!

DaHorns, what a beautiful cooker. Did you make it or is it manufactured?

    Looks like a reverse flow???

No, it was built by Gator Pits in Houston, Tx. I wish I could build something like that......

Its a conventional smoker, just on a grand scale.......:lol

Bud and/or Tonto, I have a question about your rig. I noticed that the stack is on the firebox side? Is that a reverse flow? Also, how do you (or do you) get smoke in the vertical box? And can you regulate the temperatures independantly between the horizontal and vertical chambers?

    Again, very nice all!
Yep, it's a reverse flow. There are two ajustable openings from the fire box into the vertical...so you can adjust them for temp. So yes also, you can be running at different temps in the barrel and vertical at the same time.

DH that's one awesome smoker. Nuthin like taking the weekend to smoke and never making it all the way around the smoker. Shoot more room in that than in my whole shop I think. Nice unit and can't wait to see it full.

Horns, is the whole back side charcoal grill? If so, can you show us some pix< like how the grate level adjusts and such? Or is is just more smoke oven?
