    Default onion rings

i didnt want to post the pics of the rings on FBJ post, and become a high jacker, so i started a new post, we tried it using FBJ recipe but the only thing we changed was peanut oil to just reg. canola oil

so here goes. first off FBJ recipe

    the mix

    all hands on deck

    getting them ready to fry

    not messy at all

    fry baby fry

    a batch ready

    or 2

what else goes wit onion rings.

unless you got a little picky one then its pogo's (corn dogs)

must be mine beer in the pic mmmm beer, burger and onion rings and a hockey game woo hoo

looking at this pic reminds me i gotta get around to running those wires oneday, love the puck in the back of the net on that one too. anyway last one.

hope you liked them we did, but just need to work on the crispy versus too crispy or in between. talk to you soon and thanks to FBJ for the recipe.

yes sir thats a great day in my books, i did the pogos up in the oven then finished them off on the grill, just cause of course. those buns are so my favorite i started (tried to anyway) a post in another on them, i know our store was the first i had ever seen that came out with them but now i see another company is catching on (dont remember the name know though) but they are the perfect amount of bun, i hate when you have a burger and its all bun, if they have them out there you really got to try them, or when they get them. thanks.

Hey Jake - You let your kids play with cars and drink beer at the table? What a cool dad . BTW ... what kind of outdoor deep fryer is that under those onion rings I'm kind of like you and keep mine in the kitchen.

Looks good but I think you two old kids just like getting your fingers sticky.
