Haven't been here much lately, looks like neither has anybody else. I haven't been cooking much, but sure am missing it. Way too hot here to spend much time over an even hotter steel cooker. Recently retook up an old pastime of mine. Playing music. I've played piano, violin, guitar, harmonica, and sang for 60 years, but haven't played on stage with a group in about 30 years. After much "encouragement" from my girlfriend I decided to go to an open mike night and played and sang a half dozen songs solo, while the band was on break. They asked me to come practice with them, and I'm now the regular singer, guitarist, and harp player. We're not a "real"band, just a group of guys having a good time "making noise".

How bout the rest of you? What ya been up too? Any more musicians on the forum? Been doing any good smokes? New recipes to share?

Even though I'm retired, I'm still doing some woodworking, and have learned to weld. Built some awesome tables for a local bbq restaurant, bus that's another thread, and I still have to learn to resize pics. Lol.

I see some guests perusing the forums too. You should register and join in with us. Tell us about your cooking interest, recipes, and new ideas. We have a few crotchety old guys here, but all in all, a good bunch of folks.

Good to see you Curt! We need to get down Tulsa way for a visit.
Or, if you are out exercising the Porsche, drop by KC. There is a good BBQ joint here.
