Default Memorial day cook. God bless America!

I'm having a dozen or so friends over for memorial day. Today I cooked an eight pound butt injected with pure pork power and sweet smoking swine brine with Apple juice as the liquid. Tomorrow morning I'll cook a nine pound Smokey Okie brisket injected with Tim's 180 brisket, and a batch of Dutch's baked beans.

My Mexican neighbors were cooking out too so I handed them some pulled pork over the fence. The handed me some grilled skirt steak, guacamole, and bean soup. Made a great dinner.

While the butt was cooking I gave the old porsche some much needed tlc. Adjusted valves, re torqued intake and exhaust, set dwell and timing, and did an oil and filter change.

    More pics tomorrow.

God bless America, those who have died defending our freedom, and all my fellow veterans and active duty troops.

    I miss you dad.

I failed to get before pics of dinner, and there was nothing left to take pics of after dinner! I think that's a compliment!
