    Default Thanksgiving 2015 Dinner

It was pretty non-traditional. I asked Mrs. Shoots what she would like. She's not a big turkey/ham fan so I asked her to choose. Lamb, she said. Yes Dear. Tomato Basil soup she said. Yes dear. Oh and that gnocchi mac and cheese you made before.Yes, dear. I decided to add spinach salad, croissants and punkin pie.

Here's the 2 pound leg portion.

I coated it with EVOO and the seasoned with sea salt and black pepper. The smeared it with a paste of fresh minced garlic, dijon, red wine vinegar with herbs.

Let it marinate several hours till cookin' time.
Then cooked indirect on the grill with oak lump.

    And there you have it.

    The soup.

    It was awesome!!

Hope all had a great day! Thanks for lookin'!

Looks like a feast. I like non traditional meals on holidays. Same thing every year gets boring. Excellent job brother Shoots!

The recipe I used is here: http://thecuttingedgeofordinary.blog...ac-cheese.html

But there are others out there. You can use any cheeses you want actually. Or even substitute gnocchi for mac in any other recipe I suppose. In addition to the Gruyere, Fontina and Parmesan called for, I often add Asiago.
