    Default Avocado Mojo

    Hey, I found my Mojo recipes.

    Avocado Mojo

    Tired of your Guacamole ? try this.

    Ingredients :
    6 "piments oiseaux" (or any other small hot chili peppers)
    1 ripe avocado
    2 garlic cloves
    some parsley
    1/4 cup EVOO
    2 tsp wine vinegar
    a few drops of lemon juice (to keep the avocado from turning brown)
    1 tsp coarse sea salt (I used smoked sea salt)

    Peel and cut the avocado in pieces.
    Crush the parsley, salt, garlic and hot peppers using a mortar & pestle.
    Add the avocado pieces and EVOO and continue to crush.
    Add the vinegar at the end.


    I cheated and used a blender !

    It is fantastic as a dip for taco chips !

    Hotter than the almond mojo but out of this world - I finished the whole bowl in one sitting with taco chips (and did not eat supper after that!)
