    Default Under the Knife

I'm checkin' in Monday morning for hip replacement surgery. Taking about 6 weeks off work. Osteoarthritis diagnosed back about 1980 has finally made me miserable enough to take the plunge.

I'll have plenty of time to keep up with the forum, so I'll keep y'all posted on how it goes. Y'all wish me luck!

Monday will be 14 weeks since my surgery. I was sorry I had the surgery the first few weeks. I didn't think it was supposed to hurt more after the surgery. Things are fine now. Pain is gone and back to"normal", relatively. Keep the faith. I'll say a prayer or two for you and your surgical staff.

Thanks all. Cal, They tell me I should be in for 2-3 nights. Any longer, I'll be asking y'all to bring brisket and ribs!

I need a road trip but there must be a better way than keeping someone locked up. I do have a whole rack of baby backs in the freezer just waiting on their fate.
