Default By Request, Me Laying Wood!...

FB Joe sent me a request asking where I've been

I took 2 days off, as my kid started 4th grade.

I always take the first day off.

After I drop her off, I am guaranteed sex.

    So,,,

    By Joes request,

Here is my efforts at me laying wood...

Not great pics, but a total of 4 days work.

I took 2 days off, and am ready to be done with this

Just a small portion left to go. Under the stove and around cabinets.

Probably can't tell from photo, but under washer/dryer, the refrig behind it, was like a 2 fullday process:

Joe, I still love you. I have been busy..

    And NO SEX!!!

    Forkers!!!

I got like 4 stories from this weekend, sex included, so it should be a good week of reading here!

    Bill,

Check with your Dr. on this, but I am pretty sure that since Viagra came along you don't have to tape your wood anymore (splint mod)

    PigCicles,

I ALWAYS have the funny look in my eye.

Its laminant. DuPont 30 year, in Cherry.

When laying down laminant, you need (or its recommended) that you tape off the previous seams so that they don't "unlock" as you are putting in the next row (its all about inter locking pieces, going left to right)

Now we could go and remove the tape from the first rows we did, but we decided to just leave it until we get the moldings, doorways, quarter round, etc.

I'd hate to have the first row pop and unlock before we do this, as the entire floor would need to come up in order to fix it.
