Default No pics, but taste buds said it happened.

Sorry for no pics. Trying to get back in the swing here and it hard with a baby in 1 hand and beer in the other.

Fired up the smoker for the 1st time since May. This past Saturday to smoke some stuff green peppers along with some pasta I smoked .

I have to watch what I am cooking now wife can't have dairy, soy, or nuts....b/c of baby. Baby has allergies to those as of right now and is making it very hard for us to have a dinner we can both enjoy.

But this was one that we did. Wife actually had been asking me to start smoking again saying she missed all the good food, and she was the one that said get the Lang, if it means I get more good cookin'.

I don't know what the actual temp is, but it cooks the way I want it to, so I don't guess it really matters.

    Yes I smoked the pasta.

While I was smoking the peppers, tending the fire, drinking beer, and holding the wee'an, I had my wife cook some pasta(her choice).
Happened to be bowtie....anyway, I diced up a good bunch of fresh tomatos from the garden and seasoned with garlic, basil, and some thyme.
When pasta was done added the tomato and placed in pan to go on the smoker. All was mixed together really good a little more garlic and seasonings added, then alot of butter-stuff to keep from drying it out. (had to use fake butter, non-dairy and no soy for the wife/baby)
Put on smoker about 35 min's stirring 2 or 3 times, just enough to give it a slight hint of smoke. Turned out grand.

Peppers were stuff with some ground chuck, rice, and a tomato sauce I made myself. Topped mine with lots of cheese.

    Sounds good.

So did you cook the ground chuck mix first then stuff or did it cook right in the peppers?

Cooked the chuck first, with sauce and rice. Stuffed the peppers then onto the smoker for about 1 1/2 hours.
