    Default Rubs needed

    Just had a buddy ask me to cook for him this Saturday. all out of rubs. What can I use for rubs on chicken thighs and pork butts. I usaully use Billybones rubs. I have rub for chuck roll. Thanks Roaster

    BluDawgs Bark & Bite

    8 Parts - Paprika
    3 Parts - Salt
    3 Parts - Sugar
    2 Parts - Cumin
    2 Parts - Garlic Powder
    2 Parts - Onion Powder
    2 Parts - Celery Seed
    1 Part - Chili Powder
    1 Part - Oregano
    1 Part - Black Pepper
    part each of - Mustard powder - Red Pepper flakes or Cayenne





    All Purpose Rub



    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon sugar
    • 1 tablespoon dry mustard
    • 1 tablespoon paprika
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons no-salt lemon pepper
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground red pepper

    I already had your Bark & bite, now I have added the "All purpose rub" to my list of recipes - Thanks for posting .
