    Wink My new build

This is my new offset. Finally got it welded up. Now gotta get it painted and seasoned. It's 20" diameter, 1/4" thick solid steel. Gonna put out some good grub I do believe.

    Nice!

I see you can grill over your fire if you like.

I wanted the capability of dropping in some grates and using the firebox as a direct grill. I think it's gonna work out good. Still a few mods yet to do, but she's coming along

Nice looking smoker you have there. Hope to see it in action soon. Gives one a good feeling to see your fruits of labor putting out the thin blue and producing fine food. Keep the pics coming and will be waiting for the finished pics and first cook results. I built the one in my signature.

    Cool

Very nice rig you got there. There are a few things I would do different on this build, but I wasn't there to stop my welder when he was putting it together, so it's just one of those things. Hoping to get a few coats of high temp paint on this thing today and get some more pics up. Then there's nothing left to do but season it and see how she cooks.

Def addictive. I'm already thinking about my next build.

Heres a link to some pics of Buela:http://www.theqjoint.com/forum/showt...-pics-of-Buela
She has an internal fire box and is very fuel efficient. I have had a new fire box and tubes installed since the pics and put a thick top on the fire box and heavy gauge tubes which helped the hot spot over the firebox greatly.
