    Default DIY: Japanese Konro Grill For Yakitori!!

    Just finished up my home built Japanese Konro Grill. Made the grate adjustable.

    Are you taking orders?

    What all do you cook yakitori? Do you do frog uteri and weird stuff like that?

    This is my first build, I have two more cut and bent.

    Breaking this protype in tonight with skewers of scallops, shrimp, beef filet, peppers, onion, pineapple, mushrooms, etc...

    Thanks, just filling out a niche in my smoking and grilling equipment. I was prompted to do this by another forum member who made a Konro and another that cooks a lot of Yakitori.

    I'm open to all kinds of grilling and smoking equipment, recipes and techniques. And I like to eat, drink and party.

    Scoping out my next project, vertical grills.

    Yes, I did these initial three out of steel to test and see if any mods were needed. And of course. they're less expensive.

    I don't do TIG welding so I'd farm that out to a friend.

    Stainless would have been a major PIA for the prototypes.
