Default Raspberry pomegranate grilled pork chops

Pork chops marinated in some raspberry pomegranate salad dressing and black pepper. Sounded good so I gave it a whirl.
Mama made some really good semi-lumpy taters.(that's the way we like em) brown gravy, and some corn.
Pork chops where kinda thin so I needed a serious fire, not so good for grilling corn. Next time I will wrap them in foil or boil.
Anywho the marinade was forking terrific. Trust me,try it. They will be calling you Mr. or Mrs. Amazing too.
Pork came out super moist and tender.

Uncanney: I needed a serious fire, not so good for grilling corn.

I have a few corn suggestions. One, cook the corn first directly over a partially lit fire. Before it gets up to full sear temp. Then remove or set off on the cooler side of the grill. By the time your corn is done your fire may be ready to sear some meat. It's kind of a timing thing, and knowing your grill and fuel.

Two, if it's already too late for that, cook the corn close to the hot coals, but not directly over them. You will still get good carmelization without scorching.

I did a couple ears this evening to go with a T-Bone. I started, trying to do "One" above, and had to switch to "two". Fire was already pretty hot. Turned out summa the best corn I ever had!
