Another option to consider besides the Weber ring is the ones from C&C Grillin Co. makers of Cajun Bandit aftermarket products for Weber WSM's and Kettles.
I use them and they seal tighter than the Weber or EZ-Que rotisserie rings. The also sell a rotisserie bundle kit with spit rod & motor that will accept the Rib-O-Lator. Great products.

If your Weber lid fits your drum, the above suggestions should work just fine.

Or if you have another drum of equal size, i.e. rim size, cut off the top section of the barrel in the middle of the rib (where it flares). Cut out the top and notch it on either side to accept a spit rod.

Then go to Lowes or other suppliers and buy a universal rotisserie kit. It includes mounting brackets, rod, forks and motor. This may be a cheaper alternative, IF you have a drum to cut.

The trick is to use a drum identical to the one your lid fits on.
