    Default Fly'n, not cook'n

In an attempt to add something to the site, I'll put this on.

    001 - Copy.jpg

Flew from Scott City to Smith Center to pick up a guy delivering a plane. then flew to dodge city to pick up parts for a guy, then back home to Scott by 11pm. Was hot, windy, and bumpy......but so much fun. Took 4 hrs for all this, my plane is slow. At one point was going 67kts(77mph) into the wind. But did hit 113kts(130mph) when I got a tail wind. This is all ground speed.

Not cook'n, but something that might interest someone. if not, to heck with ya turds!

    Later ya

Nice. Thanks for sharing Al. I miss flying. Last time I went was in the red barron pizza biplane.

Oh yeah. It was a blast. I think it was a stearman. We did some lazy eights, and Chandal's, and a couple of maneuvers I was unfamiliar with. The nose dive really set me back in the seat. Got to take a ride in an F 105 in Nam. afterburner was amazing.

The last time I flew from MO to OH to attend a farm show we were told that there would be a tower on the farm for landing instructions. Well there was. A flat bed equipment trailer loaded with hay with a flagman on top waving two white flags. Guess he was surrendering.

Great way to spend the afternoon/evening. I don't fly any more and I really miss it. Thanks for the post.
