Actually, I think that in some places that is the preferred pronunciation of the real word. Seems like the time I spent in Michigan I found it pronounced that way quite often.

No Bubba, I pretty well distinctly remembering most of the boys from the east side of the state ( Detroit area) saying , well it was really more of a "fock"
