Default A few more pics from last weekend

Might as well post these also -
First is pig candy on the big Backwoods. Oh so good! Okie added a bit of ground hatch pepper to the brown sugar that raised the pig candy to a new level! Outstanding flavor!
Then there is Cabinetmaker Curt loading the Backwoods Chubby with Ozark Oak Lump.
And that banner! Hmmmmm.... where have I seen that before???
The dog is Spike The Wonder Dog, Okie's watch dog. May not look too bad, but........ nothing gets past her.
Then Cabinetmaker and the Okie with Okie's stickburner Lucille on the right and the Pineapple drum smoker on the left.
I was thinking, at various times we had 4 smokers going, Okie's stick burner Lucille, his drum, and two Backwoods, and the Char Broil grill. It got sorta smoky now and then, but it sure smelled good!

I don't know what the actual temp is, but it cooks the way I want it to, so I don't guess it really matters.

The woodpile on the left is mesquite I brought back from Tucson. The one one the right runs about 3 times that lengeth and then there's another face cord of 2' hickory splits up against the house across from it. My fireplace wood is behind the shed...Oh yeah, there is also a half rick of pecan behind the shed too.

    I think I have a problem.

Spike the wonder dog got her name becase a dog that small needs a big name.
