    Cool

South Cheektowaga here, bout 5 min. from Sloan. I hit up Sloan Market for my meat quite a bit. They got the best spares there. There briskets have been a little on the fatty side. Picked up a 22# brisket and ended up trimming off 8# of fat !

    Cool Big Green Egg

Well I finally took the leap and got my BGE ! Got the XL Egg, and glad I went with the bigger one. I've only cooked a few times with it so far and have use every inch of grid space. This thing I worth every penny I paid for it! Here's a few pics of it with the table I built for it.

Very nice Big G... I am green with envy!
Just curious, what is with the bricks around the base of the egg? Nice table build also by the way!

Mainly the bricks are for the heat ,not to burn the wood .or give it more height in the stand .
