One of the older establishments (around for over 75 years) Rosedale BBQ is always busy during the lunch rush. Located in a busy crossroads area. The food is definately freshest during the lunch rush or directly after.
The sauce is the thinest sauce I've had. It isnt bad by any means. When Im dining in I add a squirt of ketchup to thicken it up.
I have (on serveral occasions) walked out with a carry out order that is cold and dry. I would NOT recommend eating there during the evening/night shifts. They do have beer! The last time I did have a cold one it was 3.2 beer.

Back in the 70's and 80's, Rosedale BBQ was pretty good. You'd go around mid-day and the ribs were great, and the horseradish pickles were wonderful. Since the rebuild, they are like any other lame BBQ joint. When I'm in that area, it's just as easy to go a little bit west of Rosedale, and go to Quicks. IMO

I would gladly take Rosedale over Quicks. And that is only on Sundays when OK Joes is closed.
