Default I felt like I should have....

..wore a tie to the dinner table today.
Dug out some prime strips from the freezer. Made a horseradish cream sauce*, some balsamic grilled asparagus, baked tater, and a pretty nice Cabernet. Boy howdy this was good.
Dessert is a La Flor Dominicana Ligero and a scotch.

*1/2 cup heavy cream, 3 Tbs. prepared horseradish, 2 tsp. Jalapeno mustard, 1/4 tsp.salt, several drops hot-pepper sauce. Whip the cream and everything else till soft peaks.

The steaks were just salt, olive oil, and heavily peppered.
