    Default Ultimate Pig Candy

I'm working on taking Pig Candy over the top.

Yesterday was only the second time I have made it, the first time it was not good.

This time I thought I had died and gone to Heaven!!!

Now this time I plan to add wings and a halo to the candy.

If I use brown sugar, ground pecans, and a touch of maple syrup to coat the bacon, that just might do it.

Then after it cools, break it in smaller pieces, and dip in chocolate.

You may have to grab the defibrillator to revive me.

Another version of this could be: cook the candy as normal, but place pecan halves, or walnut halves on the bacon, drizzle a little melted Carmel, and melted chocolate over the nuts, and sprinkle the top with chopped nuts or (toasted) coconut, or whatever.

    Damn!!!

I need to quit this!!! Somebody slap me!!!

Mmmmm mmm mmm ... be sure to report back on what you find to be the best ever. Try a good pinch of ginger too.

I usually mix everything in a gallon bag and coat the bacon in the bag .. less messy.

I like to dip half the strips in chocolate so you get some with, and some without.

Sounds like you caught Tim's Food ADD!

I'm going to try some different recipes today.

I'll have to do this inside in the oven.

I added a bit of Whirechester Sauce to the BR Sugar.

And a walnut half to the top.

It was better. I am going to look for some uncured bacon and maybe doing it differently.
