    Default Surf 'N' Turf Friday

Coulda posted in beef, but the seafood forum doesn't have as many posts in it. Anyway, had some scallops that were near expiration date and a real nice small end bone in dry aged rib steak. Grilling just seemed like the thing to do.....well, here it is.

A little Oklahoma steak dust on the beef, and lime juice, Okie Essence and a little sugar on the scallops. about 30 minutes on each soak in the lime juice helps firm them up for grilling. An oil wipe on the grates helps prevent sticking and cleans the black off the grates so they look prettier.

And then it was time to chow!

Great looking meal! I love surf and turf ..... especially when it's made with scallops. You really make me hungry.

Mmmmmmmmmm - scallops! Good wrapped in bacon too!
Good eats at the Okie Ranch!
But then............ I've never had any bad eats at the Okie Ranch. Some were a bit OVERCOOKED though..................
Ya gotta watch him Sandman! Mr. Coors and good conversation distract him now and then.
