    Default Kicked-Up Simple Salsa

    I made up some burritos out of some leftover pot roast and wanted some salsa for a condiment.
    I only had one 15 oz can of diced tomatoes and several cans of Rotel tomatoes with Habaneros. And the rest is history.
    Goes great with chips too. Can't wait to try this on tacos.
    Easy to make. Here ya go. I doubled the recipe. It's that good.

    Kicked-Up Simple Salsa

    1 15 oz can Diced Tomatoes
    1 10 oz can Rotel Diced Tomatoes with Habaneros
    1 4.5 oz can chopped Green Chiles
    1 T Sugar
    1 T Dried Parsley or Cilantro
    1/2 t Salt
    1/2 t Garlic Powder
    1/2 t Ground Cumin
    1/2 t Freshly Ground Pepper
    2 Med. Jalapeņo Peppers, diced (optional with Rotels)

    Directions:
    Stir together all ingredients. Chill 30 minutes.

    Makes 4 cups

    Sounds good. I bet it gets better with time in the fridge too. Thanks for sharing with us ... I like easy and tastey.
