Default Ribs, ABTs & beans on the drum

Got a couple slabs of spares trimmed, slathered, & rubbed with Plowboys Yardbird.

Got the stuff ready for some ABTs and a pan of baked beans

Just as I finished prepping the ABTs, a thunderstorm started blowing in. Quickly moved the drum under the carport & will be firing her up soon. Its the first cook since I added silicone around the lid to help cut down air leak.

Sorry to keep y'all in suspense so long

Sorry I didn't get any plated pics. Here are the ABTs

Two hours with apple wood smoke. One hour in foil. 45 mins sauced & back on the rack. Probe slid in like butta. Tenderness was competition quality -- clean bite with a slight tug to come clean from the bone. Great flaver but a little salty for our taste. I'll go lighter with the rub next time. The ABTs & mini pig p#ckers got dusted with Plowboys Bovine Bold. They didn't last long.

Had a little problem with high temps because I had the lid open too long when I foiled the ribs & put the ABTs on. Other than that, I'm loving the UDS
