    Default Grilled Shrimp

Yesterday when I was picking up seafood, I picked up some large fresh Key West shrimp along with some smaller shrimp.
I bought several pounds to put in the freezer. He wrapped them in roughly 1 pound packages for me. I bought these for $5.00 a pound.
I'll owe him some BBQ ribs for this buy.

This package of 8 shrimp weighed 1.1280 pounds !!!

Skewered up and on the Keg.

Shrimp and some spicy cocktail sauce plated on a bed of rice pilaf.

    They were great eatin'.

    Thanks for lookin'.
    Jim

It is getting that time of the year ain't it Jim. Fresh seafood is the ONLY thing that I miss by not living close to the Gulf Coast anymore and those pics sure don't help my abstinence any at all.

There's something about leaving the shrimp totally intact that brings out a flavor that peeled shrimp can't provide. Thanks for reminding me of that - - - unpeeled Gulf Shrimp is on the IMMEDIATE grilling list for sure.

Mud Bug season is here and can you believe that I haven't peeled my first one of the year yet???? Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

If you can get shrimp like that for $5 a pound, I know I'm living in the wrong place!

Really good looking, thanks for showing.
