    Default 60" Stick burner Build

Got this tank just the other day and thought it would make a great stick burner for my patio...it's about the same tank the Lang 60 uses. It's about 1/4" thick and I'm planning on making an insulated Firebox for it with a reverse flow configuration.

I did a little work on it this past Sunday....lots more to go, but I'll try to get some pix as I progress.

I've been working on it for about 3 hours every Sunday here at the shop. We run production 6 days a week, so Sunday is the only time I can get in here to work on it.
The Firebox is getting close to being complete.
Here is a pic of me cutting out the plates with the cutting torch....my plasma cutter took a dump. Good thing I know my way around a torch.

Well, here is an update, the goings are a little slow, but the Firebox is almost done.
Been working on this a few hours every Sunday, so I think that is what I'll call her when she's done.

Here is the inside before the door was put on.

Please don't dog my welding skills...I haven't welded in many, many years.

Here is a look at my latch...kinda simple, but it will do the trick. The door is 1/2" Diamond Plate....heavy!

This is what I got done this Sunday, First pic is the intake detail. I am going to make a bushing for the 2" valve for my Guru to fit into and will make adjustment covers for the other intakes.

Here is the inside of the door, insulated and then skinned and plug welded.

Lots more to go, but I'm hoping to have it done around July....Wish me luck.
