Went to Las Vegas last week for a few days R&R with the wife. Started the day driving to Chicago at 2am for a 6am flight. Survived the Southwest Airlines cattle call that is "open" seating3 hour flight than off to Excalibur, their new restaurant is Lynrd Skynrd BBQ, it was not so good. I'm not a huge LS fan but I never associated them with BBQ or the big Kreuz Market sign, so I had no hope. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich, it wasn't pulled it was mushed and flavorless. I had the combo: 1/4 Chicken ( a wing attached to a wing pit with rubbery skin, no flavor) Beef rib ( dry and no flavor) and smoked prime rib (dry and very fatty, freaking thing was rolled like the dead sea scrolls). They did have Shiner Bock on tap
I wasn't disappointed since I had no expectations for good BBQ but it was not worthy of being called BBQ. Sorry no pictures but the phone was charging.
