OK bought this controller and set it up using 220 and it had a 10 amp breaker and a 15 amp fuse in the controller I started my smoke at 120 for 120 min and bumped it up to 140 for 60 min and up to 160 for 60 min and up to 175 for 120 min sometime during the last step it blew the fuse and melted the controller so i could not get the fuse out to replace so I sent the controller back to Aurber
the controller worked great until the last step not sure what happened I called them and they said to send it back so back it went not sure what they are going to do about it will find out in the next week or so hopefully they will replace the unit and I will be back up and running again soon

I have one and it works flawlessly. I have been buying sensors from them for other temperature monitoring and and controls. Service has always been knowlegable, helpful and patient. They sell to the Bradley and Weber Virtual Bullet crowd and I have researched them there and feed back was positive from what I could tell. It is a PID and does not have all the options that higher priced units have but a very serviceable unit. It is all in what functions you want. I personally think the Guru has better functions and that is why I did not post an opinion before.

I made an adapter for the fan so I could attach it to the 3/4" nipple with a union.

It works GREAT!!! And it is very affordable.

Could you please post a pic of your adapter?
    Thanks
    Jack
