Default Last weekend cooked for a friends BDay w/pics

I know I ain't been here much lately, but I've been busy busy... Things are slowing down a bit so should be able to pop in a bit more...

Did three separate cooks this week, but the last one was the most fun. We cook every year for my buddies birthday party. That's my buddy Gary letting the heat out of my pit in the 4th pic. He has a WSM and a Gator pit. His neighbor wanted to learn to use his WSM and everybody wanted to see how the UDS worked. So, loaded up the UDS with my pit and headed out.

We used my pit for the ribs, chicken, sausage, salmon, roasted corn and beans. For training purposes, we used 1 WSM for 2 pork butts and another for a brisket. We also did huge brisket on the UDS (almost could not get the lid on the UDS).

Pics ain't great, but here they are...

I did 98% of the slicing etc. so I did not get many pics of that process or of the finished food...

The pit cooling down after a hard day...

The fleet... That's my truck behind my brothers travel trailer. Dad's Suburban in front of that and my wife's Tahoe on the right.

    More Party pics...
