Default READ THIS PLEASE- Last Flingers

Missouri has a ban on bringing in firewood from another state. They don't even want firewood moved from one location to another within the state.
The reason is the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive insect that kills ash trees (and there are a lot of ash trees in the State Park). It could be in the wood. You may see traps for them in the trees at State Park.
Just a heads up. Any wood you might have with you MUST be burned, can't leave any there.
    NOW -
No rain. Could be breezy. Day temps. in the mid 50's - 60's and chilly mornings and evenings. It's fall in the Ozarks, not bad, just bring appropriate clothing. And chairs.
We'll have a camp fire going. I keep firewood in the storage unit where my bassboat lives near the State Park and I'll bring some more (Osage Orange and Honey Locust, no borers).
    SEE YA THERE!!!

I'm getting all tingly inside. I'm ready to get out there and loosen up.

Hope everyone is gonna make it out - looks to be a good time with good weather yet again.

Since I will be bringing wood to cook I can take it back home, correct? I just loaded the wood into the storage compartment yesterday. Our cabin has a kitchen. Hope the cabins aren't too far from the activities.

Glen you can take your wood and take it back with you.

    I don't have a head count.

Are you in one of the camper cabins or one of the duplexes at the marina? The camper cabins are across from the camp ground (in the camp area) the duplexs are more out by the marina at the entrance to the camping area. But a short drive.

Glen you are a short drive from the activities. You'll like the duplex.
