    Default Epic Failure

Came home from the American Royal after cooking with the BbqBrethren Team.
Made an awesome pizza sauce, fired up the lg. BGE and was settled into a comfy 550 degrees with lump.
First pizza was awesome. Wifey and I devoured that and was pre-baking a second commercial grade crust.
I was too tired to think after a 30 marathon double contest, 15 hr. trip home.

Armed with second crust on the peel, raised the lid with my right hand/arm......and failure.

    Please check your bolts.

Dealer contacted, pics sent and Mother Ship is supposedly working on it?
I was devastated to say the least.
The bolt was snug, bent the bolt and whammo, what a kick in the groin.
    Wish me luck folks.

WOW! Epic is right! That makes me sick just looking at it. I hope the mothership beams you down a new one out of the graciousness of her heart ... fingers crossed.

Do you suppose I can call them up and tell them that my egg vaporized when it was struck with a top secret prototype ray gun and get a new one??

Not digging at you bull - just playing. I truly hope they work with you to get you taken care of
