    Default Oklahoma Joe's, Broken Arrow

Well, the word is in. This Q Joint is in fact Joe Davidson's ( the man that invented the offset smoker).

I dropped him an email and told him that there were several of us in the area that wanted to know and were interested in trying him out.

Here is what I got back:
Tim, Thanks for the note! I would love to have the group come in for a special "Q" Joint Tour and Taste. We are not only serving up the staple BBQ Fare, but on Sundays we will be having "Test Kitchen Sunday". A day of celebrating all things good about BBQ that is out of the ordinary. Fresh carved Garlic Crusted Beef Tenderloin, Prime Rib, BBQ Meat Loaf, Smoked Mahi Mahi, BBQ Smoked Salmon, Special Sides and the Best Cherry Bread Pudding on the Planet! Heck, we will even let you group be honorary Pit Masters and rub down some Briskets and Pork Butts if they want. My goal is simple.... Serve up the Best BBQ in the World and to encourage, support and promote others in their pursuit of achieving it as well! I will keep you posted, but we are planning to be open in early November.
