1 can Chick peas
6 cloves garlic or more
1/8 cup lemon juice
1 tbs salt ( I use sea salt)
1/2 cup of water
1/3 cup Tahini sauce
Combine the water and chick peas bring to a low boil for 5 minutes. After peas( do not drain the water) are done combine all the ingredients into a food processor and process for 3 minutes. I add roasted red peppers about 6 ozs jarred or 1 whole freshly grilled pepper and a 1/4 cup of fresh basil. Another variation try adding about half a can of black olives.When adding the black olive I omit the peppers and basil.
