Here is a skillet/wok I made at school. We made it out of an old 18" plow disk, with re-bar for handles. I work great.

Neat Welder! Did you weld the hole in the center closed or put a plug in it and weld/grind??

Here is a link to a site that has a Discada Recipe Book (200 recipes) you can download in PDF form -

I weld the hole up with a mig weld on both side that way you get full pentration. A person could cut a plug an weld it in. The hardest part is cleaning the disk up. the handles are made out of rebar an springs from old trampouline. Thanks for the receipes. I trying to find disk that are deeper.

Several people I know use the disc blade for a fish cooking pot on their fish cooker and they swear by them. I've been on the look out for a blade to make one. yours looks fantastic!

I have a deep cone disc blade from a John Deere disc. Sure others make them also. I haven't used it in some time but liked it. My smoker and D.O.s have taken over and hadn't thought about it until seeing this thread. I have several deep cone blades with the centers broken out that could be welded up if some one is close or would be in my area and would like to have one. Freind of mine just went to J.D. and got a new one, but farm supply stores may also carry them if you are interested.

Mike, I'll try to remember to put a couple in to bring along. Gotta go check the river again, it started raising again about 8 pm.
