its a southern thang ,goes with bbq around here. common thing stew is

Yard bird
pork butt
angus
cream corn
tomatoes
vinegar
hot sauce
butter
pepper & salt

cook meat grind all together and cook in pot

It's what was in that black kettle hanging over the fire in the fireplace in those log houses way back there. They just kept adding to it each day. Always made with wild game.

Got into this when I lived in VA. Just great.

Peace, Love and BBQ book has a recipe that is really good.
