I have a dutch oven table. When I go to camp grounds
I use fire rings and such for the D.O. cook.

I will be doing a little more camping in unimproved areas
and want to do some D.O. cooking.

A lot of people use Garbage can lids for the D.O.

Any one using anything else to cook on. Looking for something
I can transport real well. Ill be using a canoe or 14' row boat
for my trips.

Just didnt want to have to buy a can just to get the lid. I could use it for
storage in my shed and take the lid as I need it.

Any other ideas would be great

Go to automotive store and buy a metal oil drain pan. Works real well. Or to a farm market store and get a feed pan.

Or Tractor Supply, hog feed pans.

Try O'reilly's for the oil drain pans. Generally, they will only have one on hand at each store.

They both work well.
Bulky for canoe travel I think.

picked up 2 hog feed pans about 4.00 per
Looks like it will work great

Thanks for the tip

The oil pans are all plastic at our auto places
the only metal one was way to big
