Here's what I've done to the classic Shepperd's Pie.

Cracker Dust.
It's 1 cup panko bread crumbs flavored with my dry rub & and a half cup of chopped finally Rtiz's low sodium crackers.

Pretty good looking stuff but hold the lima beans. There are very few veggies I won't eat and Lima Beans are one of them.

Now that looks absolutely fantastic. Great meal for a cold afternoon after a hard day's work in the yard, garden, hunting or what ever. Thanks for the post. I just wish I could have been there to enjoy it with you ..... by invitation of course. I hope you had some hot biscuits and butter to go with it. :)

No I should have gotten my mixer out and made some fresh biscuts.

Next time for sure.

And no problem on invitation! It was good as it looks.

Basically besides salt from the bacon & the ground up meat there was no MAJOR salt in this recipe!

Totally unlike any shepherd's Pie I have ever seen, but delicious looking nonetheless.

You should coin your own name for it.
