No women folk were available to cook,so I decided to take on the task myself. I fried some chicken breasts and made some gravy from the drippins. I stewed some squash,onion and tomatoes. Cooked some rice and baked some biscuits. Pretty tasty if I do say so.

I used the oil from the fried chicken.I don't use a lot of oil for pan frying chicken. While the pan was still hot, I stirred in the remaining flour spice mix I battered the chicken in and browned it. When it got brown,I added warm water and stirred it until I got the thickness I wanted then poured it into a bowl.
