I have a aftermarket gasket coming .will withstand 1400 degree with 1500 degree glue

Do you know what temp discombobulated it? I never realized there was a gasket there (never seen a BGE in person).

It's a Primo. You can tell by the ovalness of it.:roflmaoha0:

All ceramics I have seen have a felt gasket that keeps them, from chipping when you close them.

Boym that didn't take long, did it Steve? Course you prolly put a whole year's worth of use on it already.:msn-wink:

I had it stoked up @ 600 degree for pizza .

Ummmmmmmmm............... maybe 600 is a bit high for a pizza on the Primo????

What did it take, 17 seconds to cook??? Guess your peel is not the wood model???

Went with stove rope for gasket .Thick enough to not do the top ,just didthe bottom
