Anybody ever used a Backwoods smoker? I was thinking about taking on a distributorship and wanted to get a little input on them

I saw a lot of them at the comp in Panama City last fall. Don't have any coherent response either way because people at comps always say they have the best setup. From where I'm sitting, they aren't marketed as heavily as Stumps. Spicewine has a real strong grass-roots market. Backwoods might just be a gem waiting to get a little polish!

I've never used one, but can't recall ever hearing or reading any thing bad about them.

James.

I talked to Mike McGowan late last year. I was considering buying a Chubby just for small cooks like a brisket or a pork butt. Mike backs his products 100%. He is knowledgeable in his profession, and his products. He won't steer you wrong. You may have to wait in line to get one due to orders, but it's worth it.
