Yesterday I bought a "new to me" "used 3 times" Hasty Bake Legacy. It is in excellent condition, pretty much new, just needs a bit of clean up.
These little jewels sell for $999. That's pretty much a grand. I got this one for $500. Guy bought it, used it 3 times, died. :ack2:
I hope to do better. :D
They are pretty versatile, sear, grill, bake, smoke. Easy to control temps.

Here tis - not cleaned up yet -

Due to the fact that you have so many smokers/grills/things in general to cook on, you should bring this one to me!!!

Great find, hope it's not haunted or anything... :D

You got a better deal than you thought. That side shelf is about a $50 option.

Folks, for those of you that aren't familiar, the Hasty Bake Legacy is prolly the best all around piece of outdoor cooking equipment on the market. They are also a sponsoring member of our forum.

Click on the logo in the supporting vendors box and give 'em a look.

Great score Mike. Not quite as good a deal as my $50 Suburban, but great score none the less.:thumbs up::thumbs up:

Oh, and Al, my Legacy is stainless. His is powdercoat, so no....he did not do me in, though I'm sure that we both had thoughts along that line during our long hours together on the trip up to Michigan and back.:roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0:

The checks in the mail Mike. I'll be up in the morning to pick up my grill.

Great price on that stud. If you use it 3 times and kick the bucket, tell Jane I'll give her a $100 for it :msn-wink: J/K buster, you'll out live us all.

Your old one wasn't SS was it, Tim? Better hide the china when pecker comes around again.:msn-wink::roflmaoha0:

All joke'n aside, I'm happy for ya Mike.:thumbs up: Tried to get my Mom to buy one, just too expensive and her worthless son was too cheap to chip in.(my brother:msn-wink:)

Don't want to read about ya in the paper, so only use it twice.......then give it to Tim!:moon::msn-wink::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0::roflmaoha0: Then you can nab a SS one!:misbehaving:

No it wasn't, but it was the little brother to Mike's. The Suburban is a good deal smaller.

Mike got a huge bargain!

Great looking unit. Should give 20 years or more of smokey meat. Did it come with the owners manual? Here is the link to the Hasty Bake website http://www.hastybake.com/ you can download it from the homepage. Let me know if you have any questions about it. I have a little experience with them. Also, It looks like the gease drain rod is in the rotis spit hole, look inside for the hole "above" the spit hole "inside" the grill that does not lead to the outside. The Grease drain rod goes in there. The other hole is horizontal and the grease wont drain.

I did download the manual right after I got it. Figured out the grease drain after reading the destructins. You know.. "If all else fails.........Read the instructions."
I LIKE it!
