Well, I bought a new-to-me Spicewine, but can't pick it up until the 11th so been doing some reading on them to try to learn any tips/tricks, etc.

Anybody got an words of wisdom on them outside of the old threads here?

I read Jim's posts and that was helpful..............and yes Tim, I know you can get me a deal on a Backwoods. :D

BTW it is a medium and will be running a guru on it if that matters.

The first thing I would do is build a charcoal maze. It will make a very big difference in the burn time and temp control, especially running a Guru.

Does it have 1 exhaust stacks or 2??

BTW - Tim can get you a deal on a BWS!

We will use a Spicewine in competition for the first time in a couple of weeks. I hear they're pretty good.

Add Jay to your FB if you haven't done so already. From what I can tell he is a pretty helpful guy.
